Who we are looking for
The Social Media & Content Manager is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. He/she will collaborate in the strategic planning, creative execution and day-to-day administration of social media activities for one of our clients in the DIY industry.
Ultimately, he/she should be able to act as the face and voice of the brand(s) he/she manages.
Responsibilities
You will have day-to-day responsibility for managing the client’s social presence:
- Planning and goal setting
- Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (copy, images, videos, etc)
- Leverage the right tools to manage content
- Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
- Promote content when relevant
- Monitor, measure and produce reports
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure brand consistency
- Liaise internally and externally to seek support when necessary
- Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals, journalists and influencers
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in social media marketing. In addition, the candidate will possess:
- Knowledge and curiosity to all matters related to digital/technology and the DIY space
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Good verbal communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Hands-on experience with social media management
- Familiarity with social reporting tools and the ability to extract insights from data
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- An enthusiastic nature and an entrepreneurial soul
- A sensitivity to and an affinity for diverse cultures
